9月17日 update some picsviewer discretion advised..... especially with those ladies who would jump to their feet in sight of little crawling black things
I have put up some pics from my experiment, well not really "experiment". I feel like I am more like a janitor or something, cleaning the cages, changing food and water.....occasionally inspecting to see whether they are healthy enough to be used.......
Point being is: the damn little things live better than I do! Well you guys can already see from the pics they have ventilation and filtered water/air.

Day 1 (Sep 14th supposedly)Day 1, The 4 cages of white footed black mice (C57Bl6/J) are officially under my "jurisdiction". All female, around 5 cm long. They are fed with different diet: A and B with dificient diet lacking Vit E and Selenium C and D with diet lacking Selenium but with 400 IU/KG Vit E water:A and B with deionized normal water C and D with 8 ppm Sodium Selenate added deionized water Weigh: Cage A: #1 17.01g #2 16.90g #3 16.65g #4 15.20g #5 15.69g Cage B: #1 16.70g #2 15.87g #3 16.23g #4 17.25g #5 15.37g Cage C: #1 14.90g #2 15.16g #3 15.18g #4 15.87g #5 15.02g Cage D: #1 15.56g #2 17.82g #3 14.15g #4 16.40g #5 16.02g While A and B is believed to be control and C and D is research subject |
